I forgot John Goodmans in this game but now I can’t help but imagine sully from monsters inc surviving some post apocalypse
Did you forget to talk to Jae?
Did I? I was rushing to record a few episodes in advance, so I may have forgotten her. She’ll forgive me, probably.
Are you also gonna play the difinity original sin series?
Yep, I plan on starting that in the near future, but I’ll be playing through the entire Divinity franchise, not just the Original Sin games.
@@BringItDon ohh, even better i cant wait!
@@jamesthieviusraccoon I think after I finish Dark Envoy, I'll play one more game then start that series.
If you not want your nervs to be Broken, dont play this, nice grafiks styupid battle system😓
It’s a basic combat system, but I wouldn’t call it bad. It gets the job done, and that’s about it.
Every time I see the prompt for placing your characters together before leaving I hear the Baldur's Gate guy: You must gather your party before venturing forth. Great video and enjoying the series.
I have that running through my head whenever a game requires me to "gather my party". Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
I LOVE that you read the notes you come across. So many other channels skip them, or just leave them on-screen for a second.
I’ve had a few people request I do it that way, but I’m sharing the *entire* experience. The entirety of a game comes together to create a whole experience, and I’m not skipping any of it. Plus, you miss out on lore and storytelling if you skip notes and books.
Resummoning the turret after it's destroyed would be helpful.
It has a cooldown, and Malakai hurts for mana already. With enough cooldown reduction, I’m sure you could have two up at the same time.
I just bought this game yesterday, and I really like the interactions. But I haven't played games in years.I haven't been able to destroy the gate to get to the janji outpost. I have tried looking at posts online, and I really like your page. Do you have any quick tips for a struggling mom to keep up with he 10 year old 😂
Have you started the quest with the rival faction to assault the Jagni base? There should be a guy you allied yourself with nearby to start the siege. I can't think of many tips off the top of my head, but some loot in each location can be really well-hidden, so always check the tops of buildings and the like. I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have, so feel free to send them my way. Good luck and have fun with the game!
Apparantly they have added two more writers to the team who worked on games like New Vegas, Disco Elysium and NWN 2. They aim to improve the narrative of the game. I suppose i will wait an year before playing this. With Veilguard and Avowed coming up i will need to replay Dragon Age and Pillars of Eternity.
I’ve seen their road map and patch notes, and I expect it might be a good game once they’ve ironed out some of its shortcomings. If they release a “definitive edition” or something, I may revisit it.
keep up the good work man i like your videos :)
Oooo! Exciting! Looking forward to this.
Gradually getting the hang of what Warhammer is about.
If you have any questions about the setting, send them my way. I love talking about it.
Why does it seem like re-reckoning has a much closer camera? Or is the FOV smaller?
It can be adjusted, which wasn’t an option in the original release. You can adjust FOV and distance. They might start off smaller and closer since they’re adjustable now.
The thing I hated about this game is while in cover, the characters when the enemy is going to hit them, steps out from behind their cover to take the hit, then step back.
Look in options if you can removel helmet in cutscenes.
You can, but I’m not going to.
31:28 I checked the wiki and it said the option you chose would push him down the space marine path, but I’m wondering if that was a typo because every other option sent him down the Lone Wolf path, except for the one that said “too bad you didn’t get here in time to save them” that apparently sends him down the Wulfen path.
I also made a point out of using the Secret Companions, even though it was not always easy. Edit: you can access the cargo from the brown'ish yellow buttons on the far right of your screen.
I tried, but end up weighing in favor of more dialogue instead.
202 days later... Time flies when having fun! 🙃
It’s important to take your time and enjoy the first playthrough, because it only happens once.
Game sound seems low. Unless im only going deaf when chars are speaking (aka your mic is fine)
Yeah, the main menu was significantly louder than the rest of the game. I turn it up after this episode.
@@BringItDon so Future Don sent a signal thru the warp to Current Don to let you know he turned it up for tomorrow's episode? That's some hard core Let's Playing. The Emperor would be proud!
@@Matthew-FG6 I usually have everything recorded an episode in advance, so I can be on schedule if something goes awry, like editing or technical mishaps. In this case, I’m a few days pre-recorded, since I’m going out of town. So, I’ve been rushing through several recordings in one sitting, and forgot to double check the sound for the first two episodes. Also, look at you knowing the Warp doesn’t follow a linear timeline. I’ll make a 40k expert out of you yet.
are u planing to play underrail again any time soon?
Can’t say it’ll be anytime soon, but it’s on the agenda. Maybe after my next big series.
This game looks solid. I like this combat system.
It is a really fun and fluid system. I like the little environmental elements that add a small tactical layer to an already fun combat system.
Gotta say, I like how it looks like they pretty much made it so that any class can fulfill any roll and use any gear. So if you wanted you could make your engineer a melee tank.
Yeah, I like the freedom each class has, though some have better synchronization than others. The Engineer is definitely tailored towards using two-handed ranged weapons, but the Adept could make for a decent tank with it’s abilities.
The more I watch the video the more I want you to hve a all ranged group, but that is just me feeling spunky.
Absolutely not. Im already pushing it by having the main characters be ranged, though I can equip them with melee weapons. A melee mage sounds pretty cool.
@@BringItDon That does sound spicy! Gotta be a maul or mace, though. We've got to keep you consistent. :P Thanks for replying. Oh! I got that job btw. Small Business Analyst for a major bank.
@@lancer4224130 It’d only be a temporary measure, until I start getting more companions. No problem! And congrats, man!
Don playing ranged characters? Seems almost heretical.
I can excuse it, since it’s not my original character. He looks more like a Ranger or Engineer, and I’m sure we’ll get a Warrior class down the road.
I'm proud of him. Nice to see him trying out different play-styles.
@@BiowareNut I do it when it makes sense, like in Planescape: Torment. I can’t give Malakai a beard either, so he’s not my self-insert character regardless.
Wow, that's quite the intro! Consider me intrigued.
It’s a fun game so far.
Great game! I'd have never heard of it if I hadn't seen it here, so thanks.
I really enjoyed it, and I’m happy to hear you did, too!
I remember those snipers teleporting around at will. One even teleported inside a wall.
That was a smart move. Your enemies can’t get to you if you’re inside a wall.
@@BringItDon Not that smart. Still got sniped by elf waifu and jae.
@@Mndb625 It was a good plan, until it wasn’t.
Seems interesting!
I’ve been looking forward to starting this for a while. I enjoyed their first game, Tower of Time.
I think Cinder is missing some equipment but we may not have anything she can use.
Yeah, I threw everything into the cargo and I don’t want to take anything from anyone else.
So, they are the new Earth, Wind and Fire band ? :D
They are the game’s *shining stars* , so I guess so.
@@BringItDon It's one way to deal with the aftermath, I guess >_>
@@user-uh3mp8ry4z That probably won’t happen until after the love is gone.
Kinetic being messy af
I finally beat this game today. It feels like they dragged out the ending a bit too much for my liking. But I finally completed it. Now I can in good conscience go on to Wrath of the Righteous
There’s another, less satisfying ending where you don’t face the Lantern King. I wasn’t a fan of that one. I enjoyed this final segment more than the House at the Edge of Time, especially where you see all your allies march with you.
@@BringItDon That was pretty nice I just wanna say preciate the let's play. It is really nice 👍
@@Shotta0202 Glad you enjoyed it!
Yup good let's play to follow. Now you can jump into Cat Quest!! 😅
Not yet, I have another game a developer sent me that looks good.
@@BringItDon I'm sorry but you spelled "Cat Quest" wrong.
@@Matthew-FG6 You’re right, I’ll play Cat Quest next, but it’s pronounced Svarog’s Dream.
@@BringItDon oh you said 'developer'. My bad. I meant, you spelled "The Gentlebros" wrong.
@@Matthew-FG6 I’m sure the developer of this next game is a gentle bro.
22:18 Your vidéo brings an answer to what I was wondering in the previous one XD
Yeah, it’s a waste of SP, unless you have some to spare on Hard.
@@BringItDon They could have made it, like, one use only instead of a passive, just not to rend it completely useless...
@@user-uh3mp8ry4z Or given him something different there, since it’s an obsolete skill on the highest difficulty. I’m surprised Hyde didn’t have a vulnerable ability. I could see his nanobots tearing into someone’s armor to reduce their defense.
@@BringItDon Yeah, or some hacking skill that allows to take control over enhanced...
@@user-uh3mp8ry4z Maybe they’re saving some mechanics for more heroes that’ll be added later.
I don't know if the revive ability is that useless, since it's a passive ability. I wonder if it's triggered automatically when an ally dies...
Unfortunately, it doesn’t trigger automatically. So, it doesn’t work on Hard.
I don't think I clarified, but there's a second attempt that I edited out completely where I failed the optional objective.
Great Gameplay. Thank you for the Content! I realy enjoy watching it, during painting. One remark: the war in heaven was a larger conflict that includes more than war of the necrons against the old one. You could divide the whole conflict into three major phases. In the first phase the old necrontyr tried to fight the old one but they were loosing. That was the moment when the C'tan showed themselves to the necrontyrs, deceived them to transform into necrons and enslaved them. This is were the second part of the war beginns: the necrons fights the old ones and subsequently wins. The third phase is when the necrons turns against the C'tan, captures them and brake them into shards. This is also the end of the war in heaven. But the necros realize that: 1. the galaxy lay in ruins, 2. they do not have the strenght to continue the fight against the Eldar so the silent king decides that the necrons needs to go into hibernation. This is of coure a very brief description and the whole conflict was much more complicated. It is also during this conflict that the chaos entities (gods) manifest, as a result of the devastation and carnage caused by the war. Second Remark: Blackstone has two properties, it can nullify the warp or channel it. Example of the second property is the blackstone fortress that channel the warp energy and uses it as a weapon to obliterate whole star systems. Keep up the good work :-)
Glad you're enjoying the series! I did not go into the full lore, otherwise the episode may never end. I try to give brief, relevant synopses dependent on what's mentioned in game. That also keeps it digestible for folks unfamiliar with the setting. That's why I pause a bit when talking about the lore, since I'm trying to sift through it in my head and determining the most relevant bits. If I remember right, the c'tan didn't reveal themselves, but the necrontyr discovered one eating a sun. They eventually crafted necrodermis bodies for them, and that led to their downfall. Will do!
@@BringItDon Thank you for your reply! Ok, i didn't took this into consideration, that you try to save time 🙂 Yes, your are right. The lore isn't consistent in this part there is one refference that describe that the C'tan were discovered, there is also a reference that the C'tan showed themselves to the necrontyr. But the uncertainty and contradiction is also in my opinion the best thing in the Warhammer univervese. This makes it so intriguing and fascinating.
What was that item you obtained? A death sphere?
Something like that, but it's just cargo.
@@BringItDon Would you mind looking into a really old game called Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator?
@@lancer4224130 That’s been recommended to be before, and it’s currently installed and waiting for me to get around to it.
@@BringItDon And if it is wishing time... - The Last Remnant (Square Enix) - Valkyria Chronicles (Sega) Both very different and really cool...
Were you putting Argenta back on her ship post for space combat?
Yeah, I just kept forgetting.
Eagerly awaiting the final showdown!
Enjoy it!
Someone finally gets it!
That's *not* what heroes do.
thx i never use the shield never needed it ......
Some bosses require you to mix up your equipment. The Champion is a good example, since blocking his charge prevents him from enraging.
hi thanks see video
fun game
3:06 Awesome threat lol
I imagined the robobrains from Fallout when she said that.
Did you equip the new lady with gear?
Yes.
The game really likes to throw melta weapons at you. Argenta can also get the flensing(?) faith.
43:38 she is indeed exclusive to the Dogmatic route, each route has a different character. It’s a little dumb that they wait until now to dump a new character on you since that means you can only do her Exemplar levels.
Yes you do have to fight them, if the Inquisitor does not trust you.
Dang, less bloodshed. In the Emperor’s name, of course.
@@BringItDon Flensing Faith is from Ministorum Priest Background. Edit: Also the Talent you were looking for is called Demolition Engineer, its a Soldier Talent.
@@wulfricarneson168 I think I had pieced that together when I saw her background. Darn, that means I overlooked it somewhere. Multiple times. There’s so many talents, I keep forgetting their names. I guess I’m lucky enough to remember most of their effects.
@@BringItDon Leveling characters, especially that many levels can be a bit daunting. Also I think Peak Condition could have saved you 3 x strength stat level ups for Chorda.
@@wulfricarneson168 That, and I’m trying not to spend too much time doing while recording. Yeah, Peak Condition would’ve been a better pickup, I think.
You are right about the Factions. Edit: There is a warp event where you get a few Navigator Insights, but flying around fishing for it, could be somewhat tedious, I imagine.
I’m disappointed I didn’t max them all out, but now I know how to optimize it for next time. Yeah, I had thought about farming it out before, and think I did accidentally when trying to reach one of those two isolated systems.
